Don’t you wish you could sort your bad relationships from your good, just as easily as it is to sort nuts from their shells?
For nuts, add them to a bowl of water. The bad stuff floaats to the top and you can just skim them off.
A legume is not a nut! Although we call a peanut a nut, by rights it should be called a pea legume! Yes, they are part of the pea family!
And did you know that cashews are related to poison ivy? Those first tasters sure were brave!
Pecan means “A tough nut to crack!” Now isn’t that just like a few people we know? We yearn from them to turn to Jesus but they linger outside the faith zone.
One woman told me all her woes and I offered her Jesus. “I don’t believe that stuff,” she said. I asked…”How is that working for you?” She said, “Not good!” and still she refused the offer of salvation!
Yep. A tough nut to crack.
Are you one of those tough nuts? Crack open and discover the joy of salvation.
“For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place.” (1 Chronicles 16:26–27)
