Forest Walker Davis wrote a fascinating book called Duct Tape. While other artists create with things canvas and camera, Davis works with duck tape. Seriously!
Nothing is beyond his creative hands which craft everything from animals, purses, and flowers to neckties and hair bows…all from duct tape!
He is quoted as saying that ‘the concept of transforming something utilitarian into something beautiful appealed to me.’ (Page 10, Duct Tape)
God does that very same thing. We aren’t so beautiful when we first meet him, but eventually?
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at [the sound of] the last trumpet call, a trumpet will sound, and the dead [who believed in Christ] will be raised imperishable, and we will be [completely] changed [wondrously transformed]. (1 Corinthians 15:52, AMP)
I can hardly wait!
Prayer – Little by little, Lord, little by little, you change us from something quite ordinary into something quite extraordinary. Thanks. Amen
