Successful, Sinking or Sunk

Successful
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked; or stand around with sinners; or join in with mockers, but they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. (Psalm 1:1-2, NLT)

Sinking
Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me. For troubles surround me—too many to count! My sins pile up so high. I can’t see my way out. They outnumber the hairs on my head. I have lost all courage. Please, Lord, rescue me! Come quickly, Lord, and help me. (Psalm 40:11-13, NLT)

Sunk
For I recognize my rebellion; it haunts me day and night. Against you, and you alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight. You will be proved right in what you say, and your judgment against me is just. For I was born a sinner—yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. But you desire honesty from the womb, teaching me wisdom even there.

Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me— now let me rejoice.
Don’t keep looking at my sins. Remove the stain of my guilt. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. (Psalm 51:3-10, NLT)

No matter where you are the cure is still the same. Call on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!

Prayer- Thanks God, for cures for success, sinking and sunk. Like everything else, the answer is always you. Amen.
