Fighting anger? Let’s take a few lessons in taming it before it’s too late! Think before you speak. That means keep your mouth shut for the time being!
Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent. (Proverbs 17: 28)
Give yourself a time out! Go for a long walk and when you calm done, speak your piece intelligently and rationally.
Be sure you aren’t holding a grudge about the last episode of anger. Think of a way to lighten the food with kind humour. Pray!
If your anger never diffuses, ask your pastor or a therapist or treasured friend to tell you the truth.
Never hurt those around you. It’s not worth it to be known as a bully know-it-all
And remember this promise from Exodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Trust the Lord to keep his promises.
