The Chosen

If you haven’t discovered The Chose yet, you are in for a treat. The Chosen is the New
Testament with bones on. The Bible is succinct because writers only had so much space and so
details are few and far between.

So, we see Matthew ostracized from his family because he was a tax collector. Peter in debt as a
fisherman and a woman struggling with demons. We see real Bible characters brought to life in
the midst of their real-life backgrounds.

Jesus meets and gathers his disciples, spends time with his mother, heals some and not others. He
deals with the man at the Bethsaida pool.

It’s up to season three so far and every episode I watch draws me closer and closer to the Lord.
There are discussion groups after each episode, explaining things we might have missed.

And friends, it costs you nothing to watch, except a bit of time. Check out google or YouTube
and search for ‘The Chosen season one.’

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to
you. (Matthew 6:33)

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify
your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4:8)
