The Fix

Is your head ever broken? Yes, mine too. Someone needs to fix it and no one can fix it but me.
My head is broken when bad or incorrect thoughts take it over.

We must stop playing the learned helpless game. We are able to change but we don’t care too, or we blame our lack of change on God’s lack of help.

The truth is that we can’t expect God to do all the work. He expects us to do our part. To fix our broken head, we have to put better stuff into it. When we do that, we change our minds and then changed thoughts and words follow.

That means stop putting stuff in our heads that lead to brokenness. Do we watch multiple hours of TV or Netflix instead of reading God’s Word? How will we ever have God’s Word in our head if we never put it there?

So then faith cometh by hearing; and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17, KJV)

We think of this verse as if someone is preaching to a crowd, but we need to hear it as we are, one person who needs to know what God is saying to us, so we can fix our broken heads.

Prayer- Lord, give us the gumption to get busy on our heads before it is too late. Amen.
