I’m waiting in line at the gas station for obvious reasons. But the guy ahead has a monster truck and he couldn’t get his card to work in the machine.
When he finally got it working, the long fill started. He propped the gas handle to automatic (a definite no-no) and then tried to get something out of his truck.
Now most people would open the door, but not this fellow. He hoisted himself through the open truck window, clear up to his waist. I guess he couldn’t reach what he needed so he repeated the same action again!
Now, I ask you, why not just open the door of the truck and get your stuff?
Do you ever wonder why people do what they do? Do you ponder their why and do you want to jump in and tell them that the door opens?
That’s what I want to do when people are struggling in every area of their life and yet the door is open and they don’t make the right choices.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (Matthew 7:8)
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will dine with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20)
Jesus is waiting.
