The Speaking God

Do you cry out for a word from God? Did it ever occur to you that he speaks everyday through his word?

 Do not let your hands hang limp. The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Do you need it in plainer English?

Don’t despair. Your God is present among you, a strong Warrior to save you. Happy to have you back, he’ll calm you with his love and delight you with his songs.

And our problem is the same as always. We do not believe God when he says he loves us. That might be a learned behaviour from our own past struggles, but it’s not fair to God. 

Give him a chance, my friend. The truth is that he does love you…exceedingly! After all, he rejoices over you, with singing!
