Then I Ask

I often think of the heavens your hands have made, and of the moon and stars you put in place; then I ask, “Why do you care about us humans?  Why are you concerned for us weaklings?”
You made us a little lower than you yourself, and you have crowned us with glory and honor.

You let us rule everything your hands have made. And you put all of it under our power— the sheep and the cattle, and every wild animal, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and all ocean creatures.

Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth (Psalm 8:3-9, CEV)

Prayer – Lord we are nothing and yet you give us the responsibility of the earth and everything that you made!  You care about us.  Though we are weak in human strength, you give us your divine strength. (From 2 Corinthians 12:10)  We don’t understand why Lord, but we are ever so grateful!! Amen

    A Spiritual Child and Heaven

Jesus said that only when we are converted and become like children can we enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:3). What, then, does it mean to become like children? It implies that we have to humble ourselves before God the Creator like children. When learning truth from Him, believing in Him, and following His will, we will realize the true purpose of our lives. By acting accordingly, we will be able to enter into the heavenly kingdom which is filled with happiness.
