Did I mention this to you before? Sorry, but here it is again. Parents used to make a cake from scratch for 20 cents. Then the miracle of cake mixes appeared on the shelf for 2.99. When everyone got busier, they started buying the cakes at a bakery for 12.95. But then we started throwing parties at local halls and restaurants.
Now that 20 cent cake costs 200.00.
It’s the same with a 50-cent pizza.
Made at home it’s lump of bread dough, a splash of tomato sauce, 10 slices of pepperoni, 1 mushroom, and a sprinkle of cheese. But no, now we grab one at the local store for 14.99.
One price never changes. It’s the free offer of Christ to whosoever will.
Whosoever, therefore, shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
(Matthew 10:32, KJV)
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
(Mathew 16:25, KJV)
