When Lightning Strikes

Toronto’s CN tower stands tall 553.33 metres, which is 1,815.4 ft tall. That earns it about 75 lightning strikes per year. How does it cope? Long, think copper strips run from the tip of its radio antenna right down into the ground. The generated electricity travels down those strips safely into the ground.

When we know Jesus as our personal Saviour, we can cope with the lightning strikes of life.

And you shall be secure and feel confident because there is hope; yes, you shall search about you, and you shall take your rest in safety.  You shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid. (Job 11: 18-19b, AMP)

Prayer- Lord, thank you for being our shield when we take refuge and put our trust in you. (From Psalm 18:30) When the world pours out its worst, may we be our best in you. Amen
