If hunger is not the problem, food is not the answer.
Are we literally consuming ourselves from the inside out by eating our feelings?
If food is love, does our meal display love for ourselves?
Do you taste your food or does your food taste you?
Is your meal appealing, healthy, enjoyable or just another item on your to-do-list?
Is food shopping, prep and preparation an honored chore in your home?
If your food is calling you, does it bear God’s name?
Do your food choices cause disagreements at the table?
Are we eating our feelings or letting ourselves feel our feelings?
Write down everything you care about. How long did it take to name yourself?
“You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.
(Matthew 5:6, MSG)
