Chris Henry, Cincinnati Bengals receiver, dies after accident

Chris Henry, a 26 year-old wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals has died.

Henry reportedly fell off the back of the pickup track following a domestic dispute in the Charlotte, N.C. area.

Henry was placed on injured reserve after breaking his arm in a game against Baltimore on Nov. 22.

Henry had encountered plenty of the off the field trouble, being suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in 2007. He has been arrested five time, but the Bengals had given him a second chance.

It was well-deserved, Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer told ESPN during training camp.

“He’s a great kid with a great heart,” quarterback Carson Palmer said as training camp started. “He’s changed his life around. He ran into some trouble, made some bad decisions, and realized that. He’s sorry for them, apologized for them, and has done everything he can to make himself a better person. I’m just proud of him.”
