It is St. Patrick’s Day, which to many people means wearing green, leprechauns and perhaps a green beer at the local watering hole. But the real St. Patrick has nothing to do with pots of gold or pinching someone who wasn’t wearing the color of the day.

Sixteen hours on a stranded flight from Los Angeles to New York which would have ordinarily taken 5 ½ hours turned into an unbearable marathon for passengers and crew.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff handily defeated Winthrop in the NCAA Tournament play-in game Tuesday in Dayton. Next up for Pine Bluff, the 16th seed in the South Region, is a matchup with regional No. 1 seed Duke. The tournament kicks into full swing tomorrow.
