That title was meant to grab your attention, not make you mad. I'm not asking about your physical condition. I'm wondering about the condition of your heart.
Finally, after 400 years in Egypt and 40 years wandering in the desert, the promised land is in sight. God, in His omniscient power, told Moses that after his death, the people would become fat and lazy. While they were in the desert, the Israelites were dependent on God. Sure, there were times of grumbling and complaining, but they knew they needed God for their very survival. He gave them manna from Heaven and brought quail to their camp. When they were thirsty, God gave them water. The Bible says that even after 40 years of walking, their feet did not swell, and their clothes did not wear out. (Deut. 8:4) God provided for their every need.
For I will bring them into the land I swore to give their ancestors – a land flowing with milk and honey. There they will become prosperous, eat all the food they want, and become fat. But they will begin to worship other gods; they will despise me and break my covenant. Deuteronomy 31:20 NLT
But now they were entering the land of plenty. Everything the Israelites needed to survive was right before them. Who needs manna when the land is flowing with milk and honey? The land had grapes so big that it took two men to carry a single cluster. (Num. 13:23) Everyone could eat their fill and there would still be plenty. They needed God in the desert, but now they were in the land of Canaan, their promised land.
Where are YOU today? Are you in the desert, or have you reached the other side? Wherever you are in life I challenge you today:
Remember God.

Keep your eyes fixed on God.
