Did you know that the Book of Philippians (KJV) mentions ‘mind’ nine times?
Stand fast in one spirit, with one mind for the faith of the gospel; (Philippians 1:27, KJV)
Being of one accord, of one mind. (Philippians 2:2, KJV)
In lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. (Philippians 2:3, KJV)
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: (Philippians 2:5, KJV)
Let us, therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded. (Philippians 3:15, KJV)
Let us mind the same thing. (Philippians 3:16’ KJV)
Whose end is destruction, …who mind earthly things? (Philippians 3:19, KJV)
Euodias, and Syntyche, be of the same mind in the Lord. (Philippians 4:2, KJV)
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7, KJV)
We are called to be of the same mind of Christ. The mind of Christ is not divisive, political, self, serving or vindictive. The mind of Christ is loving, forgiving, and caring.
Where is your mind today?
