Some secrets should remain so, but others are best brought into the light. My biggest secrets included sexual abuse and an eating disorder. When I finally shared with others, God set to work on my healing.
My openness became my book, Meeting Myself, Snippets from a Binging and Bulging Mind. Why do we treat ourselves like we are the one shamed? No friends, the shame belongs to the perpetrator and we need to tell on them.
To tell or not to tell; that is the question. I do know the one open secret that I intend to share constantly. How about you?
