How do you honor your parents? What do you do that blesses them beyond extravagance?
Children, do what your parents tell you. This is only right. “Honor your father and mother” is the first commandment that has a promise attached to it, namely, “so you will live well and have a long life.” (Ephesians 6:1-3, MSG)
Regard (treat with honor, due obedience, and courtesy) your father and mother that your days may be long in the land the Lord your God gives you. (Exodus 20:12, AMP)
