Women in Christian Media will join hands in an historic event on September 14 as it expands its reach to New York City. The organization founded in 2002 connects Christian women who work in media industries such as publishing, broadcasting and music, and provides a framework for networking, development and inspiration. The September 14th event marks the organization’s latest addition to its list of regional connection events.
The launch of the Northeast Region in New York City adds a fifth location across the nation for Christian women in media to connect. Other area events will be held next week in Dallas, Chicago, Nashville, and Costa Mesa, Calif. Women in Christian Media quarterly connection events bring women together for dinner, worship and inspiration from a recognized keynote speaker.
Organization members are comprised of dedicated women who are called of God to communicate and ultimately minister in many capacities in Christian and secular media, but one does not have to be a member to attend events. Any Christian woman called to serve God through media is welcome to join this movement that is impacting the nation for the cause of Christ. Women in Christian Media exists to connect women in purpose and in vision, for the glory of God.
