But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22, KJV)
There is the truth of it, friends. Jesus expects us to be fruitful. The Holy Spirit in us is the reason why we can be. Are you still nasty, rude, unforgiving and angry? Better take a good look at yourself. None of that is Jesus.
Stop making churchy motions of life. Get real and do it now. God knows your heart so get yourself right with him now. You do not know what tomorrow might bring.
“Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can’t bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can’t bear fruit unless you are joined with me. (John 15:4, MSG)
Prayer- Dear Lord Jesus, I do believe that you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross to pay the price for my sin.
I believe that you rose from the dead and that you’re alive right now.
Please come into my life. Forgive my sin. Make me a member of your family.
I now turn from going my own way. I want you to be the center of my life. Thank you for your gift of eternal life and for your Holy Spirit who has come to live in me…. Amen.
