God’s Promises to Us

You might ask, “Why are you using all these Bible verses? The answer is that there is power in the word of God. I say, “Let’s use it as often as we can.”

Strength- I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)

Rest – “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11: 28)

Needs- And my God will liberally supply your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19, NIV)

Prayer- And if we know that he hears what we asked of him. (1 John 5:15)

Purpose- We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  (Romans 8:28, NIV)

Company -Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10, NIV)

Protection- “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17, NIV).

Freedom from sin. How can we, the very ones who died to sin, continue to live in it any longer? (Romans 6:2, AMP)

Do you live in those promises? Why not?
