What is on your Thanks-Giving List? It’s our Canadian Thanksgiving today. Thanksgiving is the opposite of Thanks-giving. I’ve been concentrating on giving thanks this year because sometimes I don’t do so well at it.
It’s hard to be thankful for being a widow, but I am learning to be thankful for being a widow.
I’m grateful that Ron is not suffering anymore.
I’m learning to be thankful for the new opportunities that come my way, even though some of them are really scary.
My family will gather and we will celebrate Thanksgiving, but in the midst of that, I will be practicing Thanks-giving to God for the life I have now, and for the life I had before, with my darling Ronald.
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. (1 Chronicles 16:34)
The Lord is worthy of praise in ALL things.
