Watching You

I hand out googly eyes in my weight loss class, with these instructions.

“Put this in your change purse. Every time you want to buy something you shouldn’t be eating… remember I am watching you!!”

The Lord is watching us as well.

The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?” I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.  The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”(Jeremiah 1:11-12, NIV)

What do we see?

Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” ( Matthew 28:7, NIV)

Prayer -Father, when we get to looking too hard in all the wrong places, open our eyes to see the risen Christ. Amen
